One of Lamma's huge (and Growing?) population of Ghost Teachers, Spinoza1211, has suggested some new pub names for Lamma Island:

"The Grim Ferryman,
The Black Rainstorm,
The Ghost Teacher,
The China Trade,
The Squealing Pig,
Rick's Cafe Americaine,
The Hangover of 1997 (get it? hangover, handover, nyuk nyuk)."

Who's got some more good pub names or nicknames for existing pubs?

I've always liked the name The Recovery Room, especially if the pub/bar is near a medical clinic or hospital ... perhaps a good place to cure a hangover using the total immersion method?

One more pub name: "7th Avenue", opening soon, for real, in 9 days....

When I heard about it the first time, set up by a well-known and popular Lammaite, I thought that it must be in LKF or Soho, but it's somewhere on Lamma.
7th Avenue sounds a bit like Sok Kwu Wan with their First Street, Second Street, Third Street,...?

Just noticed the 7th avenue sign at Bali Resort. Not open for business yet, though. Looks like it's run by the owner of former Deli Lamma.

I wish them success but the name doesn't sound very Lammaesque
