Would be a good idea to let people know WHERE the dog was last seen.

Mika was lost between Thursday night and Friday morning from Wang Long. There were reports of sightings of Mike in TaiPeng last night. Please help keep an eye out for her.

Mika is a small size dog and very gentle.

She could be anywhere.
The dog seen in Tai Ping is not her (or there are two wandering lost looking dogs up there).
A small, dishevelled, tan dog is wandering in a state of bewilderment between Tai Ping and Po Wah Yuen.

I 'THINK' that I have seen this dog the following two mornings, ... walking on the path between Lamma Animal Welfare Centre, and heading up the hill towards 'Granny Chan's' shop. This has been between 10-11am.

I've had never seen it before.

The dog I saw had a collar on but no owner (this is how I noticed the dog!). It had no leash with it. It looked healthy and friendly.

If it's not this dog.... then it's another just like it.

So would the owners keep an eye on the dog that I've seen. ... if it's not the missing one please.

The Agricultural and Fisheries Dept come over periodically to round up strays (dogs without owners with them while they are on the streets) and will take it to the Ag & Fish kennels for three days. Regardless of whether your dog is microchipped and wearing a collar!!!!

And that's not a pleasant experience for anyone Sad

Hi and thank you everyone for your efforts...

Mika went missing during the early morning hours of Friday 10 July. We live in Wang Long but she knows all of Yung Shue Wan very well.

We used to live in Tai Peng and I am getting a lot of reports about a dog fitting her description in that area.

Tigger - was the dog you saw wearing a pink harness? As I mention before she was wearing this when she was lost (rogz brand harness).

I have already informed AFCD and SPCA just in case.

Thank you again, what a wonderful community we have on Lamma - it seems most of the island is keeping a look out! I am so touched by everyone's help and positive we will be reunited soon.

Plans to put up new colour posters with better shots of Mika, the old ones were done in a rush before we went on hols.

The old ones are still up except those around Hung Sing Yeh. Some are gone and some are torn up. Makes me wonder if someone around there purposely removed them?!

Still feel that she has been taken in by someone. Anyone hear/notice a new dog in their building?

Mika was spotted this morning in TaiPeng heading through Gaia Valley to the end of PoWahYuen and Nga Kau Wan beach to PakKok.

She is very scared, confused and a bit weak, possibly injured. If you see her please call 9011 9974 or 6114 1069 asap with the time and location.

She will run from any dogs or people searching for her, so please report her location. The owners will go to get her.

It's already been 2 weeks so hopefully she can be found soon...

Mika may have made her way down to the village (post office, hsbc bank, green cottage, vet). Two possible sightings the past two mornings: 29th & 30th July.

She may or may not be wearing a harness. Looking scared, uneasy, wet...

Please keep an eye out for her and contact 90119974 or 61141069 if you see her. Thank you.

What a lovely dog. I really hope you find her soon. I've kept your phone number on my cell in case i spot her.. don't give up.

What is the latest update? Has Mika been found?

No Mika has not been found yet.

We're not giving up our search and sill hoping for her to return home soon. Also relying on reports on any sightings or info anyone may have.
