A Lamma.com Xmas Panto is planned where the site's different virtual characters wil be brought to real life for the very first time. It will be a play of two acts, will be staged at the Island Bar on Christmas Eve and the plot will be centred around an Xmas fight club popularity poll while the sub-plot will involve an invisible stalker, a missing Wilkinson sword and some dog doo doo on a path near Wang Long.

I would like to play Lamma Gung or Beanburglar and feel Granola should play Alan. Gung should play Legless, Alan should play Fortune and Guy Millar may wish to play himself. Many other roles are up for grabs. Costumes will be provided by the Man Kee.

Will the Man Kee be providing a chair for whoever plays Buttons the Kickboxer?

It would just be so cute to get some of the wee chiddlers to put on dog's egg costumes and have a little musical number where they hatch in the spring.

Too late, Granola, they did that already last Saturday at the Mid-Autumn Carnival. Here's my picture to prove it. According to one of the parents, they were dressed up as little duckies and danced to a cheerful French folk song.

Not sure if the song was about dog eggs. Maybe you can get this enthusiastic local troupe to perform again at Xmas, they sure seemed to be be having fun on stage...

I suggest Beanburglar playing Buttons. He's been obsessed by chairs ever since the "incident" (we don't call it massacre anymore!). There must be close to a hundred messages posted by him about chairs by now.

Beanburglar-Buttons, that would really bring in the crowds for the pantomime and would be the price of admission (for charity, of course) alone!

It might be OK, but I might want to see the script first... Shocked

Seeing your staggering (literally) performance at last year's DickStock, I'm not so sure that you're the right choice to play an extremely clean and healthy living character like me... Rolling Eyes

But the staggering differences between us might actually make you a good and very funny choice... Twisted Evil

P.S. Smileys are welcome and encouraged in this forum, no matter what Granola thinks!

Sure Guy, if that's what you want to be.

Panto's are supposed to be crap.
Anyway, I think Beanburglar as Buttons only works if Buttons is a hand puppet.

So, who'll play Fortune?
I don't think that Alan would agree to take on this most difficult task. It's very tough to act the 4Cs: Crazy, Creative, Condescending & Cuarrelsome, especially in panto...

And not Daffyd either as every time someone says 'Behind You!' he'll suddenly get itchy ankles.

If I play Buttons the Kickboxer, I want the pantomime to start like this: "Hello children, has anyone seen my chair?" The children then shout: "There it is, imbedded in Cinderella's head". To which I reply "Oh no it isn't" This goes back and forth until I finally admit that it is perhaps imbedded in Cinderella's head.
Then the children shout "Behind you!" As I swing round, an as yet unannounced character skips out of my sight and back behind me. I declare scornfully "There's no one behind me" to which the children shout "Yes there is and he's trying to brown-nose you!" After more to-ing and fro-ing I declare" Why, it's Lamma Gung and he's not trying to brown-nose me, he wants to design me a poster informing people that I am really Prince Charming!" Hoorah!
