Well, nobody has really jumped on the bandwagon and created a new "official nickname" for the permanent helipad (oh, sorry ... "Official Lamma UFO Landing Site" has been suggested ... my apologies).
Purely for the fun of it I'll start a thread in the hope more suggestions will follow. I'm not sure this topic rates a contest, but perhaps a free ride in a medevac helicopter would be a suitable prize ... how that's obtained is beyond the scope of this discussion
How about "Magical Spinney Thing Landing Site" ? . . . now there's an ominous thought |

"Spinney's Landing"
Sounds like a waterfront restaurant/pub.  _________________ Lead me not into temptation;

Looks like the rooftop of soundbydesign's Po Wah Yuen Palace!
I'm sure he'll be trying to convince the Govt. to give permission for landing up there soon, so he can fly to work in town every morning...All you lucky people living on the 2?F and having a rooftop, there's hope for you for a direct service from your rooftop into town, direct!
But only for rooftops without awnings, due to safety concerns... _________________ Click here for new Lamma-zine stories and recent Photos of the Day and Artworks of the Day |

That's a good apartment-hunting tip for those of us dreaming of living on Lamma some day. Just the place to park my NH90 when I'm home. Damn, it weighs almost 6000kg empty, so I may be forced to use Spinney's Landing instead. Quite inconvenient, really.
In my dreams!  _________________ Lead me not into temptation;

After reading in the "High-flying Hippies" blog about the pilot who asked if everyone
on board Lamma's latest aerial adventure was a hippie ....

Fortune's suggestion seems to have killed off all creativity?
Any more good names for the "Premanent Helipad"?
A few more names and we can put it to a vote! _________________ Click here for new Lamma-zine stories and recent Photos of the Day and Artworks of the Day |

Yes, the "Preeminent Premanent Helicopter Site", as publicised widely by Lammadonna: _________________ Click here for new Lamma-zine stories and recent Photos of the Day and Artworks of the Day |
