I've heard the same rumour, but it'll be probably impossible to prove.
Maybe our two hillfire detectives Zep & Guy should get on the case and start their investigation. I saw them together today close to the fire site, they might have started investigating already?
Fortunately, nobody was hurt and it added some further excitement to an already exciting day full of fun & activities.
Anybody got some good pictures of the actual fire and the Fun Day in general to add to the official Fun Day photo gallery?

Interesting to see HK Electric's pump on call. Compared to our toy-town variety it actualy looked impressive. Better than their 'band' too!
A fun day indeed. Thanks to the organisers and emergency services!

Plus one of my own photos. I missed the fire, arriving just afterwards when they were dousing the remainders.
People we met on the way to the Fun Day told us "You missed the BBQ!"

| At the very first Lamma Fun Day ('95?), there was a similar fire. Bobsy started it through gross stupidity and then pleaded with his fellow eco battlers to keep quiet. So I think it was his fault. |
