It's been open for quite a while now, but no reviews or any mentions of Honey Bee, the dessert joint across from Thai Thai yet. Anyone? Rolling Eyes

Meanwhile, the temporary license sticky-taped on their front door has expired on 3 September 2004... so it's either they've operated illegally for a month, or that the owners didn't bother pulling the expired license down and putting up the new one...

Samson,

Having the most number of Official titles, I thought that you're a devoted & loyal reader of the Lamma-zine? There were TWO reviews of Honey Bee so far, one detailed one by myself with pictures and one by e in the Emails to the Editor section, actually in an email from YOU! You forgot your own email? Wink

More reviews of Honey Bee are always welcome and maybe we should add them to the list of restaurants, even though I normally don't do that for places without a name sign that might often close down within a few months. There are quite a few of those around. As they're illegal they don't like any publicity anyway.

So Honey Bee's temp license has expired? They're legally required to display the valid license prominently, so this means they're probably also illegal now, not having satisfied the conditions for the permanent license yet...

On a rtelated note, I'll be checking out the sweets place outside the Man Lai Wah hotel soon, looks promising, but I've never tried it. Anybody?

Havn't forgotten the reviews from you and e - and I think the 5 attempts at the Where on Lamma quiz. Laughing

I meant there hasn't been a thread on the Bars and Restaurants forum about the shop. Soz about the confusion!
