Prizes for HK winners include playing on Rockit main stage in Oct 2005, Tom Lee cash vouchers and a chance to compete against winning bands from L.A. (USA), Australia, New Zealand, Phillippines & Singapore!! If your band wins the whole competition, you get a RECORDING CONTRACT!

They are looking for bands who can write original songs (minimum of 3 original songs in set).

ADDED ON 5 MAY:
1. now.com.hk will film all heats and upload to their website.
2. MILK magazine & BC magazine will cover the Battle and do publicity on all entered bands.

ADDED ON 27 MAY:
HONG KONG winning band will be recording a single at Davy Chan’s (formerly of LMF) new music studio, A Room

There is a minimum age restriction - you have to be at least 18. (well you are going to win a recording contract and the ability to tour around Asia-Pacific!) NO UPPER AGE LIMIT!

Wow, hard to believe, 19,000 posts in less than 3 years.
...and MOST of them are NOT from myself...

As a prize you'll win free promotion and advertising of this "World Battle of the Bands" on the home page of this site, via several Lamma-zine Blog stories about these events, espcially if we can get some Lamma bands to enter!
