To put this topic into some perspective:
At least we have a doctor on duty 5.5 days per week in Yung Shue Wan.
If you'd live in Sok Kwu Wan or South Lamma, the doctor's in only 2 HALF DAYS per week, for a total of 7 hours per week:

I was watching the emergency medical evacuation helicopter land at the pavilion above the SKW Tin Hau temple yesterday afternoon (where the path forks to either Ling Kok Shan or Mt. Stenhouse). This is not even one of the 3 official helipads in South Lamma, but a heli flight might be your only option if you ever have a serious accident or medical problem down there....
