昨天在電視見到介紹梅窩的廚餘回收做肥料的計劃，節目最後說南丫島也有這個計劃，請問有無朋友知道詳情？

e, see Lamma-zine, March 31, when this program was officially launched in YSW. 8 restaurants are participating so far, see list below.

Plus a sample of the "Soil Conditioner" they're creating from the YSW food waste recycling in that new composting machine (see below) inside the Waste Transfer Station besides the Helipad.

More details about this and the weekly EPD recycling points in the village in another Lamma-zine story in the next few days.

No, it's for restaurants only. I asked the EPD guy about this in person.

But they're collecting glass bottles, electronics and other recyclables every Fri and Sat afternoon from 1-4pm, close to the public toilet and outside the football pitch.
