So what's the latest on French service? Am I missing anything?
Just a guess, I would think that French Style is the same as any other 3rd world country's service - glad to have your money and make you feel special for dining there. Unless they mean capital of france style service, which basically means you might as well put your money into a ceramic pot and throw it at the back side of a donkey. The resulting kicks to the face leaves one with about the same after taste as Parisite service.
Long love the Entente Cordial.
(Lost the thread for a while) - Well done Pseudolus on picking up on my inference. Yes indeed I was talking about Parisian service standards. Loved the analogy of getting kicked in the face by a donkey.
Bimberson thought it meant I was getting something on the side. That only happens late at night in the Delli Lamma.
I am sure the French Ambassador to Finland appreciates the personal service he gets from his own chef, but what was the point again?
Anyway Alice, if you are going to have lunch in the Bookworm, you will be late for a very important date.
