The mind boggles...

Sat at the ferry pier in Central this evening, and I'm very used to hordes of mainland tourists visiting SKW for dinner. Am used to people wearing the red hats and following a flag. OK.. this is the Chinese way for tourists. Not a problem.

Today was weird as everyone was wearing 'orange T-shirts'... hundreds of people.

Looked like an outing of newly released/day out' for prison inmates.

Then encountered the huge banner celebrating 62 years of the PRC and it's history when I arrived on Lamma.

Was a bit scary!!!

Various-coloured T shirt groups have been around of late - some look like local university students, orienteering their way from YSW to SKW, or something.

That massive illuminated National Day sign on the pier should be bi-lingual, surely? Who's paid to put it there?
