It is really hard to tell from your name because from the picture the size of the bird is really a kite. It could also be Tawny (eagle). For kite I can't remember there is a Black Eyed Kite. We have Black Shouldered, Black Winged and Black Kite.

Probably misunderstood the thread..... the one marked "Tawney Eagle" looks to me like a Golden Eagle...... has this been seen on Lamma? There was an unconfirmed sighting of one about 3 years ago.
The earlier image looks like a Buzzard.

New to my garden today were 3 x White-shouldered Starling....

Very nice shot. I guess you are going to ask what kind it is, but I'm not much good on these, so it would be better to get the opinion of the experts at HKBWS. I could forward the picture for ID if you wish. The black-naped tern is the most common species seen in summer, and this could be a sub-adult of this species, or possibly a white-winged sub-adult. There is a confusing change in the plumage patterns as birds mature

Lots of visitors to the "new" pond...... mainly Bulbuls, a few Doves & a couple of Magpie Robins.
2 Magpies up in the treetops & 4 Black-capped Night Herons flying around at Dusk yesterday.
The Shrike & Drongos are still around somewhere, and a probable Sooty Flycatcher made it to the pond today

"New pond"?
Looks like I'll have to climb up the forested mountain once again to have another look...

Could be another one for the record books... possible Pale Blue Flycatcher
If so, is the first sighting in 20yrs.
Birdforum seem pretty sure it is a Pale Blue
