My daughter saw the police boat by the pier with the search group this afternoon.

Thanks, Alan for posting the photo. I've been trying to get this photo for our home page and this forum.
If they've sent out a search team the police should have more info.
-- How dumb are they not to have contacted you?

Police will seek help from the Civil Aid Service to widen their search for a 64-year-old British tourist on Lamma Island this morning after her niece reported her missing.
The move comes after about 20 police officers with tracker dogs yesterday failed to find Janet Gilson on the island in a search focused between Yung Shue Wan and Sok Kwu Wan.
The niece, Julia Fareed, who has posted photographs of Gilson around Lamma and made inquiries at shops and piers, said: "There is no news, nothing at all ... nobody recognises her picture.
Gilson, who arrived in Hong Kong to stay with her neice on March 5, went missing after leaving the family home in Yung Shue Wan on Tuesday morning
"Went to Sok Ku Wan. Will have something to eat here then ferry to Aberdeen. I will call when can come back. Love Janet" was the last telephone message she sent to her niece on Tuesday morning.
After she had failed to turn up by yesterday morning, the niece reported her missing at the Lamma police post in Yung Shue Wan.
Fareed said she had a very good relationship with her aunt, who had devoted her life to the Salvation Army. "She is much like a second mother to me," she said.
Senior Inspector Kwok Chi-keung, officer in charge of Lamma police post, said Gilson appeared to have left the home in a hurry, without her glasses or usual shoes, leaving her bedroom untidy and a bathroom water heater on.
Kwok said it was not known whether she caught a ferry to Aberdeen on the day.
