Hi,

Do you know of any painters, sculptors, photographers or Bohemian characters that might be interested in exposure through a Lamma Art Hike day?

We're proposing Easter Saturday, [April 19] wanna help?

The plans are pretty fluid at the moment but:

Art - I suppose is a human effort to imitate, supplement, alter, or counteract the work of nature.

and Hike - is getting to the human effort to imitate, supplement, alter, or counteract the work of nature.

I was wondering if any interested parties might like to have an open studio for the day or if not, perhaps we could find a suitable venue to house some works?

If you need help in promoting the event and the artists, I'd be eager to help.

We'll also be featuring and promoting local artists in the My Lamma e-zine in the very near future with interviews, photos, artwork...

As I'm just preparing a Lamma photography exhibition for the Island Bar, so I might be able to help in this aspect as well.

I just passed Y2K before they re-opened tonight, seeing the two Gwailos who took it over, renting it all inclusive from the guy with a license...

Maybe I should stop by later tonight to take a few pictures...

I think the art walk thing is very charming and i hope you can put something together. I really miss the smell of paint from the open day in the arts school in berlin. but will there also be a party at the end? I wish I could help but even my four year old niece and nephew laugh about my painting
