Rent in Lamma is reasonable & price range depends on location. i suggest to live near pier for more convenient.

One bedroom flat : around HK$3,500
Two bedroom flat : around HK$5,000
Three bedroom flat : around HK$6,000

10 minutes walk from the pier, G/F, 700 sq. f, 3 bedroom costs $5000 or less, without negotiation. A bit of walk, a bit of heath, and a bit of extra money.

No need to deal with the heart-attacking hill. The flat I mentioned located close to the Tennis court.

i was flathunting only last weekend, i think the price has dropped enormously over the last couple of months. i was shown a roof top 700 sq foot flat in poh wah yuen for 5000 something, and without roof even less. for those who havent done so yet it is definitely a time to renegotiate your rent on any existing contracts.
