Fee : HK$80 for each dog (for inoculation and licence)

According to the Rabies Regulation, all dogs at/over the age of 5 months must be vaccinated against rabies, implanted with a micro-chip and licensed. The dog licence is valid for three years and must be renewed before the expired date.

Lamma Animal Welfare Centre is organizing volunteers to help the seniors, handicapped and those who have to work to bring their dogs to AFCD's vaccination. Those needing our help, and those who could volunteer, please call 2982-0800.

Caring for Lamma's Animals

We have just been informed by the AFCD that their next visit to Yung Shue Wan for rabies inoculation and microchipping will be in January 2006. This is rather long to wait if your dog is already over 5 months old - people are advised to take their dogs to a private vet.
We will let you know the details of the Government visit as soon as we hear them.
