I love Canna, and want to get some for my garden. I've grown it from seeds I collected and the resulting plant had only tiny red flowers - probably it's true or wild form. Does anyone have canna with large red/yellow flowers that they would be prepared to divide for me? I just want to get enough of the rhizome to start my own plant. I'm also interested in finding some of the agricultural form called canna achira. Perhaps we can trade something?

Frankly, as a novice gardener I had no idea what a Canna is.

I googled for an image and came across this Canna lover's blog, "Canna News - A blog devoted to collecting, growing, hybridizing, photographing, documenting and researching the history of Cannas, the only member of the Cannaceae family of plants".

But it's maybe a bit too demanding for a beginner like me?
