August 24 – Eco Park & Kadoorie Farm & Botanic Garden

The Eco Park near Tuen Mun offers a variety of 3D interactive exhibitions. Over 40 different plant species have been specially selected for the outdoor landscaping to attract birds and butterflies.

The Kadoorie Farm always offers a feast for all the senses and this visit will include the added attraction of a guided tour of KFBG’s Native Plant Propagation Section, which is not normally open to the public.

If time allows we will call at the Community Growers Group for the benefit of those who would like to purchase sacks of their excellent and inexpensive compost.

This will be an all-day excursion, starting and finishing at Pier 4, with pick-up/drop-off stops at University Station along the way.

Time: 9 am to 5 pm

Lunch: bring a picnic or take your chances at KFBG’s Sunshine Café.

Cost: HK$150 per person, including admission charges.
