On August 24, a guided tour of Kadoorie’s Native Tree Nursery will be the extra attraction during a day at the

This is the ideal time to visit the
Ginger Garden at Guangzhou’s South China Botanical Garden on August 9. Our expert guide is the curator, Tom Wood, a world authority on this fascinating family. For the past 3 years Tom has been working at SCBG to upgrade the landscaping and content of the Ginger section to make it a world-class attraction. Cost $800 per head for the day. Extra attraction: stay overnight in the luxurious surroundings of the Guangzhou Grand Hyatt on August 8. Take an early through train from Hunghom and spend the day enjoying the city’s modern architectural gems, in museums or at the wholesale plant market. In the evening attend a concert by the Busan Philharmonic Orchestra in Zaha Hadid’s controversial Opera House. For more details, contact Jane Ram asap.
