My wife will deliver our first new baby in June, and we are planning for long stay in the Island. But can someone tell me what if the baby have a big sick at night time. What can we do? Is any doctor living here for 24-hours? Just want to have some contingency plans before we confirmed our stay here.

Sorry, no 24 hour doctor at this point, but the clinic has overnight nursing staff who speak to a doctor by phone for advice when needed and either provide some relief as prescribed by the doctor or will arrange for transfer to HK by police launch or helicopter in case of emergency.

I brought up two children here (now adults), both survived all sorts of childhood ailments. Unless you have a really sickly infant then you should be ok. :D
