Hi My boyfriend and I are looking into moving to Sok Kwu Wan. We are expecting our first child early next year and we are wondering about emergency services. What would happen if I went into labour in the middle of the night......how would we get to the hospital? Is there an emergency boat service? Thank you. |

Kirk To Enterprise {L_WROTE}: Is there an emergency boat service? Yes, and also a helicopter. But it takes time, and there is no doctor on call on Lamma outside office hours. They wouldn't deliver here even in the daytime. My wife stayed with relatives in Kowloon for the last month. She was in labour for 14 hours so there wasn't any hurry, as it happened.... |
