Don't think 'sex' and teaching about it is that important.... the kids will learn about it all in school with their peers....... ie a boy puts his 'thing' into a 'girls' thing,.. and around about Primary One they will learn about the penis that is put into the girlie's thing LOL. And it will be a cry of "Yeeuw!! that's disgusting LOL Think that 'periods/dealing with hormones (this is the first things males should learn!) and of course safe sex should be top of the agenda. But 'sex' as in the 'what you do when you get there, is not that important IMHO. Kids know way more than we did in our day. |

In the Catholic kindergarten? That's easily summarised. Sex is only permissible between married adults of opposite sex, without the use of contraceptives. It's for procreation, not fun. Poor little souls: a life of guilt beckons. |

shekoujohn {L_WROTE}: In the Catholic kindergarten?
Did find that a bit strange.... a Kindergarten. Teaching children about sex from the ages of 3 to 5 years old. Think they should still be learning about bugs, how to dig really big holes on the beach, Getting knees scuffed climbing trees, and hanging out with other kiddies, just having fun and being small children. |

It's to teach the parents how to handle questions. I don't think they're going to raise the subject in the children's classes. |
