Fantastic photos! I am not sure about the blessing though. I mean I am not sure about divine intervention into the Forum.

Thanks guys, but I'm with Rambler on the blessing :)

Zep I just realised that I missed a couple of images so added them at the bottom so as not to screw up your kind naming

We are also blessed with a Moderator who steps in his all-powerful but benevolent manner, even assisting in naming all the birds and other Flora & Fauna posted in this forum. His divine intervention in this forum is most welcome by all his disciples (forum members) and I feel blessed that he's been moderating this forum so well and patiently for many a year now.

Thank you, Zep!

Lammagung - Thanks, that will do nicely. No, I don't think it's over the top. Your cheque is in the mail.

Howard - adding two female Daurian redstarts at the end.

Sunday Bird. This was a marksman shot from a very long distance. Still may be enough sharp to identify the guy? Not the ususal guest on Lamma?

Your first sunday birds are the Japanese white-eye and the long-tailed tailor bird. The last one is the sooty headed bulbul - similar in general shape to the other bulbuls but slightly larger and with different markings. They are less common, but can often be seen on the hillsides. They don't come close to the houses very often.

Nice shot. You can see the pale rump on this bird- at rest it does not look very noticeable, but if you see them flying, that is quite a conspicuous field mark.
