A fine photo from the garden of HK Dog Rescue's Sally Andersen, an Indo-Chinese Rat Snake.
A Lamma Wildlife Photo of the Week, a first for Sally, I believe, as her many great pet photos do not qualify as "wildlife".

Should we have a Lamma Pet of the Week?
We might get flooded with photos...

Here's a great guide to HK's reptiles (lizards, snakes, turtles, etc.):

Snake spotted in Yung Shue Long New Village today. Length I'd guess at about 2m but quite thin.

Spotted by you today?
I thought that you'd left Lamma like... decades ago?

Just visiting or, like many ex-Lammaites, moving back here?

P. S. Is your brain still fried? . ;~}

Brain is still fried but yes it was spotted today. Yes I live here for several months each year and have a flat here. I'm now homeless in the UK. Do like to spot the occasional snake and saw a Red Mountain Racer snake up Ma On Shan recently.

Not really "wildlife" category

"Wildlife" includes flora and fauna, dead or alive or dead like this unfortunate Wolf Snake.
Your amazing macro shots of dry, dead leaves and similar also qualify.
