In response to LG's feature in lamma zine
A quick remark on the Beer and Babble eating joint.
Just make sure that they are actually cooking your meal!
The first time I went, I ordered a meal and waited and waited ....and waited. After a while I asked if they were having trouble with their stove and my meal. After much 'bubbling' they profusely apologised, offered absolutely no consideration, recompense or compensation for wasting my time.
I went back since and found the food esculant if not mediocre. I admit my bias after being treated so shabbily the first time but the food was certainly nothing to write home about and you would not be missing out on a culinary experience if you walked right on by.
