The standard of service at The Deli Lamma has to be the worst in Hong Kong. We visit approximately once a year on the off chance that things have improved, but no luck. Slow, unhelpful, surly. Shame because the food is OK. |

I agree with your comments about the service, but we've seen MUCH worse service in HK before. But I've only eaten in the Deli-Lamma once so far, in the early afternoon. But we also didn't like the food at all (dried-out, tasteless); and it was way overpriced compared to other Lamma restaurants with much better similar food. But we'll try again soon, giving it another chance, as quite a number of our friends seem to like and recommend it... Any comments on the new Lamma Bistro? Looks good, but looking at the price list has kept us away so far. Is it worth the cost? |

my friends and i love the food at deli lamma though its rather expensive. so we would only be there once every few months. tried the bistro once too - again, nice but expensive. i'd still vote the chicken wings at nam-wah-yuen the best! |

They might be delicious, but I don't think they can beat the Cola chicken wings of my wife... Yummyummy!  Man Kee's delicious curry fried flat noodles with assorted meats & vegis get my vote as one of the best values for money around, big enough to share!

I'll ask her for the recipe, e, but she's busy right now playing Mah-Jongg with our landlady and property agent outside our building... and then we'll have to rush out for the Gala Opening of this film festival below, for which I built the website... |
