The standard of service at The Deli Lamma has to be the worst in Hong Kong. We visit approximately once a year on the off chance that things have improved, but no luck. Slow, unhelpful, surly.
Shame because the food is OK.

I agree with your comments about the service, but we've seen MUCH worse service in HK before. But I've only eaten in the Deli-Lamma once so far, in the early afternoon.
But we also didn't like the food at all (dried-out, tasteless);
and it was way overpriced compared to other Lamma restaurants with much better similar food.

But we'll try again soon, giving it another chance, as quite a number of our friends seem to like and recommend it...

Any comments on the new Lamma Bistro? Looks good, but looking at the price list has kept us away so far. Is it worth the cost?

my friends and i love the food at deli lamma though its rather expensive. so we would only be there once every few months. tried the bistro once too - again, nice but expensive.

i'd still vote the chicken wings at nam-wah-yuen the best!
