Yes, their service is not really good and the food is a bit expensive. But their open air tables with the beautiful seaview is unbeatable. In fact I quite like their DIY type of service. At least I can have peace of mind, and really sit back and have a lazy afternoon. I love their Tiramisu, it's nothing like others!

My rating for them would be somewhere between Good and Ok laaa, but definitely not sucks!

Just visited them this evening with my wife. Their service has been... vastly improved. Great music right from the juke box, and the new waitress there always wear a big sunshine smile. The atmosphere was great, tables filled with eager drinkers and couples enjoying their seaside romantic evening.

Have they been reading our forum? I certainly hope so. :D :D :D

Webdog revised rating: Goood!

So many people voted against Deli-Lamma but yet it's still one of the most popular restaurants on Lamma. I can't figure out .....I would vote a GOOOD now but since I voted OK LAAA before, it can't be changed anymore.

As mentioned above, I've given Deli Lamma another chance after my initially pretty bad experience.

We had our first official My Lamma moderator meeting there and a few of us, incl. webdog, stayed behind for dinner.

And it was a really great dinner! Sangria by the jug, fantastic Indian dishes and DEFINITELY the best Tiramisu on the island!
In fact, I've already been back there a few days later, just for an afternoon Tiramisu! But you need 2-3 people to share, as their portion is HUMUNGUOUS!

Jocelyn, the new waitress is just a real sunshine girl, always beaming happily and naturally! She's an acquaintance of Lamma-Poh, so she's trying to lure us into the Deli whenever we pass by and she sees us... Very marketing-savvy girl...

The Deli Lamma has to be congratulated for headhunting her away from the ferry kiosk where she was working in before!

If Ah-Can in Tropicana is the Happiest Man on Lamma (according to Norseman), Jocelyn must be the Happiest Woman on Lamma!
She's such a sharp contrast to the other, stern-faced (but also capable and not unfriendly) waitress.

Very, very expensive for dinner, but the overall experience has to be rated "Excellent!"

Awful food. Tried it again recently after an absence of almosty 3 years, and I have to say nothing has changed.

Good happy hour though, and a nice spot to watch the sun go down. Then get up and go and eat somewhere else.

Don't risk it and stay, just get up and go!!

Friendly staff but food a bit of a disappointment better than the Bistro though.

Free wine tasting on Saturday, Feb 28. This place is going upmarket, it seems, but the prices are remaining reasonable...

The food has improved so dramatically in the last few months that I'd consider it as a strong contender for best non-Chinese food in Yung Shue Wan nowadays.
