A glass of their very agreeable house white wine, soup, my favourite Chao Tom (fried prawn balls on juicy sugar cane sticks), plus their excellent coffee-master-brewed coffee with a complimentary chocolate cookie, sitting on the beach-facing, tent-covered, wooden-flooring terrace, a light, refreshing breeze on my face, soft music, listening to the public beach's visitors and families joyfully frolicking in the sun, sand & surf ... it's all it takes to make me feel happy, fortunate and privileged to live on Lamma, a holiday island getaway for so many, but home for me!
