I read in your zine that you have a new Japanese rest.

I don't mean to sound snobbish, but the first thing that I usually do when I enter a Japanese rest, overseas, is to order in Japanese.

9 out of 10 tens times, the owner/chief/waiter-ress is usually Thai or Korean.
Not that I don't trust their preparation of the Japanese cuisine, I much prefer the food to be cooked by a person from that country.

Living in Japan, it is difficult to get the 'real' Italian food cooked by an Italian and so forth and so forth, but I hear you people have it good when it comes to International foods.

The first thing I usually do when I enter a Japanese restaurant , overseas, is act the twat. Language no barrier.
