After a very successful 7 months we are sorry to announce that for now Thursday night BBQ at the Banyan Bay Cafe (and of course Friday Burgers too) is no more.

Our esteemed chef is off to cross the Atlantic putting his culinary skills to the test on a sailboat. The trip is expected to take about two an half months, which I'm sure for some of you steak and rib addicts is going to seem far longer. James assures me that he is already planning new and varied additions to the menu for his return.

We all wish James a safe journey and hurry back soon.

James and I would both like to thank all our customers for their continued support of BBQ night and sorry for the short notice. Looking forward to seeing you all again on his return.

No sorry he flew out at midnight last night, we had hoped to have a final bash but they needed him ASAP. Glad you've enjoyed the food, will let everyone know when he is homeward bound.

James is back and it's BBQ business as usual at the Banyan tonight.
