I'm starting to visit Dan at Anastasia's more and more often, when I don't want to go out for dinner or cook at home.
$40 for two persons is a pretty attractive price, including steamed rice!

All choices I've had so far were very tasty, great spices, but not too spicy.
You can eat there at a single table, if you like.

It's also a good place to socialize, chat & catch the latest news, as Dan's a helpful, friendly guy. I've met somebody new almost every time I went there...

Hot soups!

Minestrone, Goulash soup, cream soups and other winter warmers would be most appreciated!

Optional and at extra price, of course.

What about small, cheap desserts?
Mixed fruits, jelly, pudding, simple stuff like that?

Dessert is a good idea. Can you beat Deli-Lamma's Tiramisu? They make the best Tiramisu on Lamma.

I'm sure Dan can beat Deli Lamma's Tiramisu!

But does the Deli Lamma let you beat, not eat, their Tiramisu?

But it won't look nice or appetising after Dan's beaten their Tiramisu, beaten it all mushy and flat, making a mess of it... hohohoho

looking forward to having a chance to grab a quick breakie sandwich or other nibble to have along the way to the island...
offer fresh fruit cut up and this will be a winner...
hot tea would be ideal....
muffins and fresh fruit at other shoppes are good as well...
but something fast and hot.

OK, I've finally shot the photos of Anastasia's logo and exterior (incl. Dan) this evening.
Posted already at the beginning of this topic.

I've also tried the Cumberland Sausage Casserole today (Wed) and it was particulalrly delicious!
With this great quality & taste and low prices, I'm becoming a regular!

After a few practice runs on some local guinea pigs, I should be starting to provide desserts to you guys, so far on the potential menu is........

Tiramisu - chilled (of course)
Apple Crumble - hot
Fruit Empanadas - hot
Jam Roly Poly - hot
Creme Caramel - chilled

I haven't worked out which days for what yet but I will keep you posted.

Any other ideas for me ? :P

<img src="http://www.lamma.com.hk/forum/images/smiles/Big-Smilies/!drooling.gif" align=left hspace=10>Great to hear about the desserts! Can't wait!
But why wasn't I chosen to be a Guinea pig?

<img src="http://www.lamma.com.hk/forum/images/smiles/Big-Smilies/!spinningsmiley.gif" align=right hspace=10>Wow, a few places are actually LISTENING to what we're saying here on My Lamma, especially reacting to our complaints:
The Bistro painting its doors, Spicy Island putting up a screen to separate the bar... That's amazing and wonderful!

More ideas, Dan?

Just one most popular demand for the chillier season:

<center>SOUPS!</center>
