Where in YSW serves the cheapest cup of tea of coffee? Not the best or most exotic, just a place you can sit down and get some hot caffeine with the least outlay of cash. |

it's called DIY ! get yourself a nice (filter) coffee maker (easy to keep clean too) ! Fortress sell for $350'ish ... 100% better than most of the coffee served up in the village. the filters cost next to nothing and you brew your favourite "blend". Nespresso is also an option ... now ParknShop/ollivers sell their machine compatible pods a lot cheaper. |

As a follow-up question: Most expensive cup of tea of coffee in North Lamma? Most expensive glass of regular house wine (1 choice) I got quoted yesterday was $55 in B&B, more than some bottles in the shops outside. So I opted for a coffee instead, forgot the price, but somewhere around Starbucks/Pacific Coffee prices... Most expensive coffee in South Lamma is easy, priced well beyond the luxury coffee chains: Bebe V restaurant/coffee shop/bakery on Sok Kwu Wan main strip. But they've got the best coffee in SKW, I think. |

YES ... you can sit on the beach (free) ... with a "flask" of your home-brew (cheap) ... Enjoy ! |

I don't think sitting on the beach on a wet windy day is really a good place to study. |

Nespresso. According to a recent in-depth story, these capsules now bring in more billions than the entire rest of the coffee industry combined! Well, even I would sell well if I had George Clooney fronting the advertising for me! But, back to the coffee issue for Alan, I imagine she wants a super cool laid back place, which won't be cheap, but cheapest is probably somewhere like Mr Ma's or Man Kee. Probably not the image she wants though.

Coffee at the Beer Garden is $12. It's not the greatest, but it'll do. |

Yes, Beer Garden is the cheapest in YSW and has free Wifi, and Nimfa and Emily are lovely

Most expensive? Bebe V on the Sok Kwu Wan seafood restaurant strip, the only non-Asian food/bakery place: $50 for a small coffee with a tiny cookie, but the staff are lovely. |
