News from Bella Vista:

"Bella Vista is changing its name to "JUST KITCHEN". Basically we're planning to supply Western and Mediterranean foods. Such as kebabs, pasta, salad etc. Of course, drinks too.

We also going to renovate the outside garden. But for CNY we have to delay. Because we ordered in China and it will all arrive after their CNY holidays only. When the garden will be set up it will be a very beautiful and relaxing place for breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee and drinks, of course.

We'll have a 2-hour "Happy Hour" everyday for draft beer. For the soft opening, we offer all-day happy hours and only buy 1 get 1 free (For draft beer only).

Anyway, we also offering 20 percent discount for Friday opening for all kind of dishes."

Just Kitchen has just soft-launched for now, a review and pictures will follow in a few weeks when their garden will be done.

"We've already changed the menu and we are going to set up a lovely garden.

Many Lamma Residents visited us yesterday and we good very nice feedback. We wish to set up a lovely dining restaurant and cafe-bar suitable for families and Lamma residents especially."

Good news from Just Kitchen which replaced Bella Vista, soft-opening on Jan 27. These lunches look like great deals!

Awaiting the furniture and decorations for their outdoor area for the "hard opening".

I just got reminded of The Waterfront's (almost) weekly Sri Lankan Night Buffet on Fridays from 6pm.

Reserve to guarantee a seat. Last time I passed by it was full, including large groups of Lammaites inviting their off-island friends!

See their newly expanded menu here...

I'm tempted to try this offer together with Lamma-Por, kind of a Staycation,
maybe before or after attending the largest beach cleaning event ever in Lamma's history, I believe, on Sham Wan's Turtle Beach.

We've just tried this special offer ourselves and absolutely loved it!
Quite a bargain, actually, like a staycation in a beachfront hostel, with delicious dinner while chatting for hours with several new friends and a real, huge, built-in bathtub in the 3-room mini-apartment.

The next morning, I leisurely biked to the Sham Wan/Tung O beach cleanings.

Photos from above and below the sea, plus drone video, plus stories in the Lamma-zine later this week.
