Pierre's funeral will take place on Monday, 31 March, at the Hong Kong Funeral Home in North Point. You may come to bid farewell 4 - 5pm. The ceremony will commence at 5pm. This will be followed by a wake in Dublin Jack from 8pm onwards. |

any news about the cause of death? I find it hard to believe that he checked into a love hotel alone. Was he given Roypnol and then robbed, as it happens all too often in Wanchai? My condolences to Angela. |

It's a mystery that needs to be solved. If a top class athlete and trainer can perish in a 'love hotel' what chance for normal guys. Are there no CCTV cameras in these Wanchai places? |

as far as i remember, there is no CCTV...but mind you, i was always intoxicated when i checked in. They don't ask for ID, you pay for the time you intend to stay, and then leave when time is up. People can easily come and go from your room, if you let them. I slept at VV alone only once, as i was too drunk and tired to catch a sampan...and i was asked if i expected someone to join me later. I guess they don't see many people checking in alone. But Pierre could have taken a taxi home, as he was no longer living on Lamma...so i find it hard to believe that he went to VV alone. As i said, it's easy for people to slip in and out of your room there. |

It’s almost 13 years since Shihan passed away; I cannot forget one of my best karate Sensei & the advanced techniques he taught me. I am forever grateful. I will never forget seeing him teaching, with kama, a Shorinji Ryu kata to a 6Y old. A piece of art! Montana lost more than a father. Not only he passed away but mud poured up with even a “heart attack” story. So sad. “Heart attack” seriously? On the Friday evening before, we were sparing seriously (for obvious reasons before Hanshi’s visit) & the punches & kicks I got did not exactly spell “heart attack” from an “out of shape” Shihan / Ajarn fighter. They were powerful and what I would expect in such situation. While mud poured on his name, some forgot a) he was Ajarn & b) some earlier sportive events. RIP Pierre |
