"Pinky Chan rocked. I never actually spoke to her in person because she scared the living shit out of me. But I wanted to. To me she was one of that rare breed of merciless alpha females, like Cleopatra, Dolly Parton or one of those praying mantises that bites off the male’s head.
"She spoke to me once. They were her first and last words to me. “Hey you. What are you smiling at?” she said, glaring suspiciously over a glass of wine outside the Spicy Island.
"What a fantastic woman."
