I have just received a message from Joyce, wife of Bruce, informing me that he passed away this weekend in Hawaii after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Many of you old timers will remember him for a variety of reasons......., a genuine Lamma personality.

Some of his ashes will be spread in the ocean around Hawaii, and the remainder will be brought back to Lamma next week to be spread close to those of his father.

My heart felt condolences go to Joyce & their family & friends, Guy

Is there a photo of Bruce Baron. Chris Knox used to complain that he spent too long on his Waterfront bar seat 20 years ago without buying a drink! But then Mr Knox was a bit authoritarian.
