Fortune Chan should have a ferry to himself because he poos his pants and walks round with it all day. No one will want to sit next to him for sure.

I can't believe my eyes the conflicts between Joanne and FC has extended here. Well, let's go back to the subject. I'd like to have a ferry leaving Central at around 1:30am, and if possible, another one at 2:30am.

I'd like a 2am and a 4am ferry. Or 2:30am and 4:30am ferry.

Trial runs on Friday and Saturday night and all eve's of holidays :D

A ferry either at 2 and 4 or one at 3 would be great, the only problem is that my excuse for not working night shift in the bar would be gone so could we keep it a secret.

Not even living on the island yet, but at least one ferry somewhere in the middle between 12:30 and 6:30 would be huge. I'm not sure how you guys hande the time gap right now, but unless this works out, I guess I'll find out soon enough! I'm in 110% :thumb-up:

It's a good idea to have more ferries between 12:30am and 6:00am! what if happened  , it'll be a lot of strange  people move in and the rent of the house on lamma it'll be more expensive! :dontknow: on the other hand, I do like have a 1:30am, 3:00am and 5:00am ferries  !

p.s. Merry Merry Christmas & Happy Happy New Year to all lamma people!

All the best

So there's not a big demand for late night ferries then?

Can we make a petition for the ferries to leave central 1 minute later, because that is how late I am when I miss a ferry. Never 2 minutes- always 1.

Yes, it should be more convenience to us...but will the crime rate be increased subsequently?

No doubt it will encourage undesirable elements in the middle of the night. Also not commercially viable to the ferry co so thankfully it won't happen.

Late ferry at 1:45am announced!

Well, at least once during the Lunar New Year, early on Sunday, Feb 1, meaning after midnight on Sat, Jan 31. From the HKKF website:

"於農曆新年這普天同慶的日子,為方便乘客,本公司將延長中環往榕樹灣之渡輪服務至二月一日凌晨時分,詳情如後:

During the Lunar New Year, for the convenience of all passengers, ferry service running from Central to Yung Shue Wan will be extended until the early morning of 1st February 2003. Additional ferry service schedule will be as follows:

中環開
From Central: 1:45 a.m.

船費 Fare 普通船 Ordinary Ferry

成人 Adult $14.00
小童 Child $7.00"

Why on Feb 1st, as the Lunar New Year is from Jan 22-24?

Happy New Year!!

To answer your question briefly, Lamma-Gung, the announcement on the HKKF site must be a year old

If memory serves correctly, Chinese New Year did coincide with Feb 1 in 2003...

However, there was a one-off 1.45am ferry service on the mornings of December 25, 2003 and January 1, 2004.

Perhaps there'll be another 1.45am run on January 22, 2004 to coincide with Chinese New Year again?

Looks like that was from the HKKF "news" page.
HKKF {L_WROTE}:
Additional Ferry Service - Lunar New Year 2003/1/31
Special Ferry Services Arrangement On 2nd February 2003 2003/2/2

And even their Chinese page has the same outdated info.
