I've finally managed to get a personal Lamma-zine interview with the Director and General Manager of the HKKF group of companies, next week in their office.

I'm collecting questions right now for this very rare and most welcome opportunity from this very private and low-key company.

What would YOU like me to ask him?

What would it take for one more Central-YSW ferry at 1.30?

Since the monthly ticket is digital, why does it have to be a calendar month?

Why can't we have 30 days from the date you pay it; or just extend the current period by another 30 days?
We could pay in advance and not get screwed if we miss the dates for re-up.

Why can't this be integrated into the Octopus card so we don't need to carry two cards (would save hassle and money for them as well as us).

Yeah, aircon. We've been asking them (and HYF before them) to turn that down for 20 years. No hope of that. 1:30 ferry: same story. No hope. They'll "look into it".

Well I wish they'd turn the air-con up a bit, say to about 24 degrees. It's too cold as it is, so I'd rather they didn't turn it down any further.

Just to avoid confusing Ferry managers. When looking at the temperature knob the right way to turn it down is to turn it right rather than turn it left, while turning left makes it turning up.

I agree totally with the aircon,... and not to set the thermostat to 'Arctic'.

Also the monthly ferry card as Alan mentioned.

Also, not to invite 'friends' into the 'control room' at the front (don't know the correct term!!) Makes me uncomfortable,... how do I know that someone inexperienced is not in charge of the ferry!! Only staff allowed!!

I would like to know why the ferries are every 20 mins in the morning apart from 6.40am.

The 7 o'clock is always packed, with 50 people standing for 10 minutes before the doors open so they can run off and hopefully be in time for work!

If people are to 'remain seated for our own safety until the ferry docks', one at 6.40am would be a lot safer and save me running every morning.

Or without leaving on the 6.20am and having to get up at the obscene time of 5.30!!

Is there any plan to run a ferry from Central to Pak Kok pier ? Or to have some ferries making a stop in Pak Kok ?
Thanks
