have noticed there are no glass hammers on the sea superb. When I contacted 1823 this is what they said. Sea superb vessel a139155 Regarding your above case, the Marine Department(MD) has provided the reply as follows – "1. There is no legal requirement for local vessels to install glass breaking hammers. 2. MD has advised HKKF to install glass breaking hammers and hammers have been installed stage by stage on board HKKF vessels. Sea Superb is now out of service for rountine maintenance. Hammers will be installed during her rountine maintenance. The passengers will see hammers being installed when she resumes service. " So Sea Superb should be out of service for a while and return with glass hammers. |
