Best & funniest Lamma video I've seen in a long time, Lammaites acting up in their own ways of a Gangnam-style music video. This was part of the yearly Treasure Hunt and the teams had to perform this as part of the demanding course.

Watch out for these dancers:
The knights, the enthusiastic youngsters, the dogs, the ballerinas, the bottom-wigglers, the Zumba Goddess, the Planking Queen, the Yawning Guy, and last but not least, Harry!
I'm even in there myself, for a few split seconds in the background, fortunately NOT dancing!

Not so much ex-Lammaite but temporarily off-Island. :)

Here's another one from me, running from Yung Shue Wan to Pak Kok and back, a speedy POV early in the morning.

Hello Klas!

I haven't seen you around in ... years!
When will you be back? Now?

Very nice video, really showing off the natural beauty of Lamma and one of the very best hiking/running/biking routes in North Lamma! I've just walked a part of exactly the same path yesterday afternoon. But it took me quite a bit longer than the 2.5 minutes of your superspeed video!

Instant Lamma Video of the Week, replacing our current Gangnam Style dancing Treasure Hunt ballerinas!

Not since last summer. Back soon I hope, staying at sister island in the baltic sea atm.

Would like to do a Runners Vision up Mount Stenhouse one day! Haven't been there yet.

Hope to see you both again soon!

Klas

Going up next Sun morning again with a few friends, perhaps.

It doesn't have to be a runner's video, walking and climbing and taking a picture forwards every minute or so would work too, no?

You could stitch it into a POV movie, correct?

Actually, I used a videocamera, filmed the whole run and played it back 10 times faster, I guess you can do something simular by shooting images and put them together lika a stop-motion but I haven't tried it on the run. Go for it! :)

INDEPENDENT MUSIC IN HK - by Richard Fernie:

"This is my personal project for my final year of the MYP (Middle Year Program.)"

This school project, a great overview of Indie bands and venues in HK, is dedicated to his mum, Ivy Fernie. Her band, Dark Himaya, will be launching their first CD this weekend! See my Events Calendar.

Check out how many current and former Lammaites you can spot in this beautifully edited video with some fantastic music, interviews and loads of text animation effects. Congrats, Richard!

New video by Alain Jaquier:
Morning Bike Ride

Shot mostly from a FPS perspective, mounting the camera on his handlebars while riding to and from the "Project X" concourse in Pak Kok Shan.
The video is humorous, high-speed and enhanced by some clever editing and most unusual angles. Have a look:
