I've watched "The Touch" in JP Cinema in Causeway Bay recently (Tip: $25 only if you watch movies there before 10:30am!).
I loved it for many reasons, like the mood, the music, the action, the humor, the choreography, the landscapes, the villain, and, of course, Michelle Yeoh!
How come that almost all my local Chinese friends do not like it, even the ones who are Michelle fans? "Unbelievable", "bad SFX", "too long and slow", "not as great as 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon'" were some of the comments.
Is this locally produced movie for Gwailos only?
Would anybody like to comment, please?
P.S. One question bothering an aging fogey like me? How is it possible that Michelle Yeoh gets ever more beautiful and graceful as she gets older?
