I just can't resist taking my camera out and filling my memory card up. It's hot, but it's clear, you won't see a sunset like this more than ten times a year! I took this shot at the pier after landed from the 17:40 ferry yesterday.

Wow, most impressive shot, Wingman! It was even amazingly clear on HK Island yesterday, clearer than in many months, even years! But the May Holiday Week is over now in Guangdong and the hundreds of thousands of factories have started again to spew out their poisonous clouds wafting down the Pearl River Delta, adding to our home-made pollution... You just made the "Photo of the Day" spot on the home page, Wingman. Congratulations! More, more! |

Welcome back, Spliffany, We haven't seen your messages on this website for quite a while. I'm glad you're back and posting your photos! But could you keep them below 640 pixels wide, please, as not everybody has a huge screen to view such huge photos. I've taken the liberty to reduce your first, huge one. And your first three photos look very dark on most computer screens. You should lighten them quite a bit. You're using a Mac, right? It's a common problem... See today's story in the Lamma-zine Blog on the home page which is using a photo very similar to yours. Quite a coincidence! |

This one is kinda surreal. The pic was taken on the next day I shoot the sunset, on the 19:45 ferry, on my way to work. As the "Golden Week" has passed, say byebye to the blue sky.
