From Jane Wilbor, shot on the Pak Kok ferry. She titled it:

The Google Man has been spotted again on Lamma this morning, doing a Street View for our major paths!
It might take a while to go up on Google Earth, but at least we've finally been acknowledged.

These signs are on the main path along Hung Shing Yeh beach.

Besides the very unusual spellings of Yung Shue Wan and So Kwu Wan, does anybody know where Dayan Cafe and Wachifield Resort are? Never heard of them...

From Prime Bar & Grill:

"Google Street View comes to Lamma. See who you can recognize! Look - I found Jess hiding in the dark on Google Street View, its kind of eerie!

https://www.google.com/maps/@22.225778,114.111693,3a,15y,276.91h,84.51t/data=!3m5!1e1!3m3!1skknmzjsAY30K4yARIE3ntw!2e0!3e5"

This is an amazing exploration of a full-surround views of much of Lamma, all over YSW, but also including half-way up to Mt. Stenhouse! Play with it, move around in virtual reality-like, rotate 360 degrees, zoom in/out, go anywhere the Google Guy went all over Lamma. It's like a virtual reality snapshot of Lamma in Nov 2013. Some places have changed already, like Lamma Grill still open back then in Tai Yuen on the Family Trail, not a trace of it left now.

We've got a photo of the Google Guy walking along YSW Main Street last Nov, by Sean Creamer, a Lamma Photo of the Week:

A bit of Google-Street-Viewing and I found Sean actually taking this photo above while he was being imaged by Google Guy and immortalised on Google Street View:

From Angela Leary, subtitled:

"In comes the cement. Goodbye Lamma Island as we know it."

"Green Island" seems to be Lamma's favourite cement brand, as you can see all over the island. Quite ironic...

My favourite Govt. sign. It looks like a poster for a wild HK action movie!

Fishing never looked so exciting, not boring at all!
Poisons, electricity and explosions... and the prospect of imprisonment!

Here's my favourite new Lammaite portrait, a selfie: Richard & Eileen of Prime, engaged.

Lamma in a nutshell, so typical in many ways, I think.

Many of us Lammaites love our bikes! One of the few mechanical-or-legs-only ways of getting around on our island.
