Lamma Winds @ Sunrise:
A few pictures taken with a pocket camera from the Lamma Winds Pavilion at 6am on July 24, the most stunning sunrise I've experienced in a long time. The pictures don't really do it any justice and I arrived a few minutes too late for all the colours. I've got to bike up a bit earlier soon...
Some of the panoramas, created while sweeping the camera horizontally, show an unintentional strobe effect for fast-moving objects during the sweep. Try it ypurself, even smartphones have a Panorama scene shooting mode these days.
Many of the other pictures below were shot in HDR scene mode which is also becoming more common even in smartphones. It works great for photos with very bright and very dark areas, like shooting against the sun.
