This "biggest" quote is from BBChris own publicity material and it's clearly identified as PR from Shazza Music (her co.), not as editorial, in the e-zine.
I thought the "biggest" remark meant "largest, most members", not "best"! They had the most members of any band at Wanchai Live, didn't they?
Anybody else misunderstood this remark?
How could you claim to be the best band amongst 42 of Hong Kong's finest? Even BBChris' famously XXXL musical ego wouldn't inflate that far, I hope! But I could be wrong!
But hey, it's all in the fun spirit of promoting her band. Only with hype and big PR you get really ahead in the music business; the quality of the music is usually not sufficient or absolutely necessary to become famous.
The e-zine will support ALL Lamma musicians and will gladly publish ANY PR material I receive, the more outrageous and over the top the better!
If you're too outrageous in your PR the readers might simply laugh at you - and might go to your gig anyway to check out these crazies...
