It reflects neoclassical as well as contrapuntal elements harkening back to the Baroque period. Elena Bashkirova (piano), Karl-Heinz Steffens (clarinet), Guy Braunstein (violin) and Kyril Zlotnikov (cello) performed the work as part of the 2008 Beethovenfest in Bonn. download MP3 file from Deutsche Welle |
