As far as i know there's just a small number of watersports clubs in HK. The closest being in Stanley.

Check up here:

Looks like you have to found your own club on Lamma...

A bit late in replying but I am definitely interested in meeting other watersporters. I paddle a kayak from Pak Kok Tsuen once or twice a week on average, sometimes for short half day trips, other times for multi-days trips. I often do solos but often run into other kayakers anyways ... so why not arrange something together?

For the next long trip, I want to do a camping/ paddling trip towards Sai Kung or Tung Lung Island, with a quick visit to Ninepins Islands as well. Any canoer/ out-rigger/ windsurfer/ sailor interested?

You are of course welcome to join me, maybe not for the 3 days Ninepins Island trip (as the sea condition gets quite rough once you paddle pass Cape d'Aguilar and even very experiened paddlers are known to capsize in a bad day) but do join me for some shorter trips, such as circunavigation of Lamma, or a short trip to the nearby Islands. (How about invading the legendary Disco-Bay?)

Sometimes I do some rescue/ rolling practices at the Beach by the power plant; for that I definitely prefer to have a partner.

BTW, I will be paddling today (Sunday) with a friend... haven't decided where to yet, but we should be leaving from Pak Kok around 8:30am (so we don't have to paddle during the hotest hours of the day.) With some luck you might catch us at the water? (We will be paddling a long white plastic sea kayak and a short red-and green "tiger" kayak.)
