Hi all. I live in Shenzhen and have some friends from the US coming to visit in July. They will be flying into the HK airport and we'd like to stay on Lamma Island for 3 nights while we are sight seeing and such. I am having a heck of a time finding accommodations and would appreciate any help or suggestions anyone can give.

We will be there 3 nights - Sunday, July 16, Monday, July 17, and Tuesday July 18. We'd like to have a 3 bedroom flat big enough for all of us, but would also consider 2 separate flats. The important thing is we will need at least 3 beds total and it must be reasonably priced (I make a Shenzhen salary so can not afford a lot of HK prices).

Does anyone have a place like this or know of anyone that does? Thanks!

Thanks for your inquiry about short-time flat rentals on Lamma.

There are NO websites about home rentals on Lamma, except this one. None of Lamma Island's property agents has a website listing available properties and just a few of them use email occasionally.

We have a free forum for renting and letting flats: http://www.lamma.com.hk/forum/viewforum.php?f=41

Here are some contacts of most hotels/guesthouses/holiday resorts and their agents:

Call them up to check availability and prices.

Then the best way is to simply come here and visit some property agents offering "holiday resorts" along Main Street and rent something on the spot.

I can recommend Bali Holiday Resort, we use them whenever we have friends visiting and they are clean and reasonably (for Lamma) priced. In particular, they have a whole floor of three rooms at 77 (I think) Main Street which would suit you admirably. The "front" room has a grea view over the bay. I'll get the details when my wife wakes up...
