Hi,

We are entertaining my in-laws and we are heading to Lamma for the day. Lunch and swim, etc.
We are getting the ferry from central over to Lamma, but wanted to do something different to get back to DB.

Does anyone have a contact number of a local Sampan that would be willing to do it?

Thanks in Advance,

Brian.

How much does it cost roughly using them? Thanks.

We did it one night from Mui Wo to YSW with about 10 of us and it was about HK$1,000.

It was about $600 return for the boat. It might have gone up a bit since. Very friendly and reliable service!

Hi,

Thanks for the info.
We had to organise something on Sun, so I called a friend on Lamma and he asked around and low and behold it was Mr Wong Chun Fat that was recommend and a few hundred cheaper than some other quotes.

Yes very friendly , he called a few hours out to confirm the time, called again 10 mins out to see if we were running late. We were by 2 mins!

Trip to DB cost $450 for 7, apparently it goes up if you have more passengers? But well worth it. Had a few beers while the sun was going down, the kids loved it. It had is toilet, basic on board, so all good.

Will use him again, when we have to entertain the family tourists that seem to want a tour guide when they come to HK.

Thanks, Brian

Only happens when there is a storm #8 or greater. there is usually about 2 hours see if they are going to quit the ferry boats. if it happens during the day, then you can still get MTR to tung chung then bus.
